I just realized I didn’t introduce myself before posting in a couple of threads yesterday, so figured I’d rectify that. I’m a 40-something year old woman with a spotty history with fitness, and resolved a while back to make some permanent changes for the better. I’ve at various points been super into running, cycling (I was a bike courier for a few years), martial arts, and those boot camp fitness classes, but never really followed a rigorous training program. After discovering weight lifting and getting instantly hooked, I finally started really focusing on making my body strong and healthy, and have been steadily making improvements in my strength ever since. I’ve been following along here at a distance for over a year but only recently decided to take the plunge and try pushing myself to the next level.
