Their prices are actually quite good, especially for what you get. The VAST majority of protein sellers charge way more...and if they don't (which is rare), it is usually because they're selling a shit protein source. There are some cheap, low quality whey proteins and caseinates out there...and fillers are often added on top of them, which makes them even shittier.
At True Nutrition, regular cold-filtered whey protein concentrate (a solid, middle of the road protein source) is only like $7.99 a pound...and I trust True Nutrition 100% when it comes to label claims. If you want better proteins you will pay a bit more, but even their grass-fed whey protein isolate is only like $11 a pound, which is damn good for that type of protein. Their cold-filtered milk protein isolate (which contains whey isolate and micellar casein in a 20/80 ratio) is about the same price. Very few "blended" protein products contain primarily high quality proteins. Usually 80-90% of the "blend" is comprised of a low quality whey concentrate...and all the other, "better" proteins listed on the label make up the remaining 10-20% of the blend. If you go through other companies and try to buy single proteins like grass-fed whey isolate or milk protein isolate, you will pay whey more than $11/pound...almost everywhere.
With that said, I am wondering what protein you buy now , it's price, and where you buy it from...because if you know of a place that sells proteins of equal quality for a significantly better price, I would like to know.
