Just curious. DO most of you stick to a traditional split like chest/tri, back/bis legs or do you use something different. This has been a traditional split since forever but im wondering if there is something more updated or beneficial.

Mix it up:

Chest
Shoulders
Legs
Back
Arms

or my current favorite:

Chest/triceps
Shoulders/Biceps
Legs
Traps/Calves/triceps
Back/Biceps

Go 5X5 for two weeks then high volume cables and machines for one week. Rinse and repeat.

I prefer the push pull together. If I had more time I would train chest and back together for awhile. If it was good enough for Arnold then........

I just did about 4 months months of
Chest/back
Shoulders/arms
Legs (quad dom)
Chest/back
Shoulders/arms
Legs (ham dom)
Rest

Had awesome results. Put more size in while leaning out than ever before.

Now I'll run a traditional 5 day split for 6 weeks to change it up
Chest
Back
Rest
Shoulders
Legs
Arms
Rest
