I'm currently on trt from a family doctor not an endo. This blood draw was 8 weeks of 100mgs wkly.

Testosterone total - 643 ng/dl
Free test - 18.1
Estrogen total - 141

Yes, the 141 is definitely high. During my cnovo with the doc he said he didn't want to prescribe any anti e's just yet. Wtf? I'll be jumping on adex or main tomorrow and drawing my own labs in 4 weeks.

Should I find an endo in my area or talk to my doctor? Get straight to the point with him, no bs.
 
Good luck. I dropped my endo. She was worthless. Doctors usually don't stray too far from what they would give to a 80 year old from my experience. IF you can, try and get as much from him as you can though. Keep him. You get the test, blood tests, and maybe more. My primary gives me blood tests and I just work everything out myself. He could care less haha

I went with my family doc. I don't think it's about the title, it's about he person. Either they listen or they don't.
 
Most of us do not get everything we need prescribed to us. Your lucky he prescribed that much IMO.

Is that total estrogen or estradiol? When I asked my doc to check my E2 they did total estrogen and not Estradiol. It came back at 180. Freaked me out. I bet that is what happen.

if it's total estrogen don't sweat it. I made the mistake of crashing myself before I realized what happened

643 T from 100mg weekly? whats the mg/ml and how much are you pinning? the test number looks right but that estro is crazy high. what is your labs without test? and are you using anything else?, DHEA, pregnelone, HCG?
 
First thing, that probably is high, but your estrogen level needs to be checked with the sensitive estradiol test (e2 for men).
Second, most of us get or have gotten get piss poor TRT treatment from PCP's, GP's and Endo's to be honest.
I had to go through 3 to get with the Doc I'm with today.
Your best bet would be a Urologist or a TRT specialist.
I'd definitely consider finding a new doc so you'll get the best assessment and treatment possible.

Adex is easier in some respects. Asin is expensive long term and it's easier to dial in when running higher levels of test.
 
everyone is different but 150mg a week my e2 is around 45 and my t level is 650 but if I go to 250mg weekly and get my t level over 900 then my e2 jumps to 150.

I called and expressed my concerns to him. Going back sometime this week to talk. He's down to earth so hopefully he can see where I'm coming from.

Yup, total estro. I'm doing the female panel this Friday so I'll get a better reading soon.

I'm not on anything else right now. It's 200 mg/ml, taking half a cc every Saturday. Labs were pulled Friday afternoon when levels would be at the lowest.

I ordered bothe asin and adex the other day. Lol, you guys still have that going? I don't have no one's number these days. Lost my phone hiking up in NY a few months back.
