Get Shredded!
All I want to do is try a 'beginners' cycle' of 500mg of test a week...

I've been training for 15 years and am 41 years old. I train at home - turned my garage into a little powerlifting gym because I'm an accountant and sometimes, especially from January through April, I don't get to train until late at night. I'm 5'11", leaned out at 180 lbs, best lifts were at a not-as-lean 198 525/335/605. I'm in good health and regularly get blood work done through privatemdlabs with a general health intent.

Training at home, I don't meet any fellow lifters. So I turned to the internet. I've been to at least a half-dozen websites: sources that are claimed 'gtg' on one board are claimed to be no good on every other board. A couple of private source names pop up with great reviews everywhere - AgentYes being one of them - but I understand you've got to be referred and vouched for in order to get in touch with the good private sources. I see long-standing forum members telling new members to sort of hang out and get known and sources will get shared eventually...

So the question is does anyone have advice on how to hang out and get people to know you? I only know what I've read about androgens/steroids and (I've read a lot but) I'd be a total jackass if I started chiming in on discussions with no personal experience. I also don't really have any questions - a 'beginners' cycle' and the pct that needs to follow it isn't something that brings with it a lot of questions (I'm not building an IFBB pro drug cycle). So...I literally don't know how to hang around and become familiar without going off half-cocked about shit nobody should want my opinion on or asking questions that I don't need to be wasting your time with. It's like there's no good way to get started...

Any advice?

Stop by the ranch for supper... we'll have a beer afterwards.
Welcome aboard!

Very well said! Not to jump your thread, I'm on the same boat brother!

Welcome to the forum.

A lot can go wrong with a beginner's cycle. It's good to keep digging for information/affirmation, even if it seems overwhelming and/or contradictory at times. Eventually you'll weed through enough info to improve your overall understanding and make better decisions. At the end of the day, your going to be experimenting on yourself, so it's best to be more prepared than you'd initially think necessary.

I'm no expert, but I can tell you it takes time and patience to find a source that works for you. Stick around and scan the lab testing and source discussion sub-forums every day for at least a few weeks, and/or dig through the history of those subs. This is probably the best way to get a sense for sources and which might work best for you.

You'll also get a sense of who the vets and mods are here by hanging around, and probably find out who they trust...you get the idea. You just gotta be patient and do a little digging. It will be well worth the effort. Be safe and good luck.

Welcome to the forum. There is always the pit. ;)

HaHa Nooooo!!! Stay away from the pit for awhile....or not just jump into it i dont care lmao..... . .. . . but welcome man read as many stickies as you can....PM some of the mods and vets on here they are good for info.

Read the stickies for info. Ask questions to clarify. Pay attention to get a grasp of the personalities and chime in. If you have nudez of your wife/wives/gf/gfs you'll probably get there faster. If all else fails the judicious posting of tranny porn will take you far.

Welcome aboard.

On behalf of PSL I would like to welcome you to ASF. Please read the rules and read ,read, and read some more. I believe everything has been covered above. Ask plenty of questions.
As for the green lady, you missed that boat.. she is and was one of a kind. Focus on reviews, bloodwork from credible people , look at the good and the bad. And how problems are addressed. This is key. Have a great day.

Shit atleast your new and confused .....Im old and cofused :(

Welcome aboard. I'm still new myself (1 year). I think your post speaks to most newcomers, and was very well said. I had & still somewhat have those same issues (how to hang out when you don't know anyone or anything about the subject). Boards like this are a tough nut to crack. It seems there are a few dozen guys who've been around a long time, have alot of knowledge/experience, and have built a network of peers...but the new guys can be real outsiders for a while.

I also train at home, so the internet (this board in particular) is my go-to source for information. Its okay to PM people with questions too. I've done that in the past. As far as which labs to use, there are several good ones. I would recommend before purchasing anything to really read different lab's pages, and pay attention to bloodwork posts that confirm they're legit. Also, there is a forum for posting labs, and source checking.

Good luck. I'm glad to help if I can.

Welcome to ASF.

Read the stickies to start and get familiar with the rules.

Check out the source checking section of you are looking for a shop. Avoid reviews on a sponsored sub forum. Look for unbiased reviews and not fans.

Keep an eye on logs that pop up really often and try to get insight from them. Usually logs that are updated regularly have tons of good info on cycle, diet and training alike.

Have fun and ask questions. Don't get upset when you get a smart ass answer. This is the Internet and everyone is a dick.
