So I had my patios done and now its time for the extras. Im building a bridge, fire pit and island with seating. So Im trying to find out as much info as I can first. Im trying to decide to use metal studs for the island and seating or center blocks? Seems like its a mixed bag, some say studs and some blocks. It will be covered in stone when all built. Anyone done one? Feedback? Thanks!
What Ive got done in the last couple evenings.

Any tips? Never used the studs. I have a chop saw I assume that will work to cut them right?

Ive never built one either but did some reading on it. Cut the studs with aviation snips or a chop saw with an abrasive disc.

Chop saw with appropriate blade for sure. .fuck tin snips and cutting the crap out of your hands.

Also...don't wuss out...just make it out of slabs of stone
