Its been 6 weeks since my hamstring pull healed.
Rehab took a lot of patience but is paying off big time.
My goal is 600... hopefully get there before I get too old for this shit.
 
this got me thinking whats the 60 + club doing at my gym and I'm not sure but there sure as shit not pulling 500 on deads. Pretty badass oldschool!

Nice #s for damn sure! Dead lifts are out for me unless you count picking up the curl bar with weights already on it (& that screws me up, I need some type of rack). Have a compressed nerve from a degenerated disc going faster than I'd like. Besides that my shoulders labrum has never been the same after surgury and getting that much weight halfway up I'm certain would rip it clean back out of socket! Fresh from your injury too, damn good job!

I have pulled 3 times since I stopped powerlifting and went back to BB'ing. last time I pulled was probably 10 weeks ago which was an easy 585. I have been wanting to pull again cause I know I got 600 easy but my fucking glutes or hams are always too sore on back day and I dont need a hammy tear.
 
Congrats! I literally just pulled 600 last Friday. I was plagued with hip issues for a few years. Everything's been going great so far this year.
 
My point that I was too self absorbed to make....was Oldschool, dumbell lunges leaning the body way out over the lunged leg and using the glute and ham to get up and heavy rack pulls from the top of the knee cap and you'll get there in no time.
 
Damn just when I felt like a beast, I feel tiny again!
