Never seen this before. Is this similar to an XMPP protocol? Are thing like skype vulnerable to security breaches?

XMPP, have not heard of any breaches. Pidgin been around a few years maybe more.

Good stuff, I will have to check Pidgin out. I have used xmpp at work and it's pretty slick. Hey anyone know what "pidgin" actually means? It's actually a really old fashioned term, was around during the slavery/civil war days.....

Ding ding ding! We have a winner. It's actually a hodge-podge of languages or a rudimentary form of communication used primarily by uneducated slaves around the time of the civil war. It was typically only understood by those using it, and was thus a secure form of communication
