Open in paint and and copy the image into it, save as a gif and see if that lowers the MB size enough to allow it to be uploaded.

That's the fix that usually works for me.
 
Resize your image to 800x600 for general posts and I believe it's 200x200 for avi.
 
I have to crop almost every pic I post. I will continue to do so for the general well being of the group.
 
Damn.... so I would have to email the pic from my phone. Then use a desktop to re size in paint, then load the avatar. That is a lot of work......

Don't no what type of phone you have but I have a android. You can go to your app store and look for photo reducer app. Problem solved 👍

I do setting changes on the puter and upload pics straight from my iPhone.
