Thank you OldMan!! That's what I'm talking about! Nothing works better than a good PDE5 inhibitor like some Tadalifil or Sildenafil! Now as far as supps go for pumps, the one thing that is tried and proven and has withstood the test of time is our good 'ol friend Creatine monohydrate (creapure) of course. What I will say about some of the perpetual "pump" supplements, particularly those containing AAKG, is that when they first came out they seemed to work wonders... The original No2 Platinum from MRI Labs, designed by Edward Byrd was the very first Arginine supplement that was based on the theory that Arginine supplementation would increase Nitric Oxide production and that very well could be true, I'm just not sure if that's been proven scientifically yet. Perhaps if one of the vets have more knowledge concerning that theory they can chime in and shed more light on this subject. I remember making massive gains off of No2 from MRI Labs in my early 20's. I mean massive gains in just a month's time. It was to the point I thought that MRI Labs might be using some sort of prohormone in that product it worked so goddamn well! Then Muscle tech came out with "Pump Tech" and "Nano Vapor" and we slowly started to see all these other supp companies coming out with their own variations of what they thought a Nitric Oxide producing supplement should be. They threw in Cirulline, Agmatine, Taurine, even Caffeine, which I remember Edward Byrd stating that Caffeine would negate the effects of Nitric oxide production due to the Vaso-constriction caused by the caffeine. But these supplement companies tried it anyway. What I noticed is that whenever I tried a Pump Supp after that, they weren't yielding the same results I was getting from the MRI Labs Platinum Version of No2. By this time Edward Byrd was no longer employed by MRI Labs and they released No2 black in both Pill and powder form. Of course they added Caffeine to the powder just like all the other companies were doing at the time. So I tried it anyway, ignoring Edward Byrd's rule and still nothing. Then I went back to No2 Platinum just to see if I can get those same pumps I got when the product was first developed and to my surprise it did nothing... I don't know if it was because I had already reached my natty potential by that time or what but I thought it was odd enough to call it a phenomenon. I'm sure that there are plenty of other bro's that still respond well to some of these supps, but one thing is for sure... Good 'ol Creatine Mono has never let me down! I'm grateful that supplement companies still continue to produce creatine after all these years. It's a godsend between cycles!
