Austin Lee Westfall Presler Arrested For Alleged Burglary After Cops Follow Trail Of Cheetos

Austin Lee Westfall Presler was arrested for second-degree burglary of a country store in Kershaw County, S.C. Officials discovered him by following a trail of Cheetos.
Some people get arrested because someone reports them to the police.
In one man's case, it was the Cheetos that got him busted.
Deputies in Kershaw County, S.C. arrested Austin Lee Westfall Presler on Sunday and charged him with second-degree burglary of a general store.
Police said Presler shattered the front glass of the Cassett Country Store and stole beer, cigarettes, snacks and energy drinks,according to WLTX-TV.
Presler wasn't on the lam very long, because during the break-in, cops said, he opened a bag of Cheetos that spilled on the floor and left a trail of snack food goodnessleading right to the front porch of his home, NortheastColumbia.Patch.com reported.
Deputies said they found Presler inside the house with the stolen items and made the arrest.
Presler was booked into the Kershaw County Detention Center and later released on a $15,000 bond.
He has previous arrests for possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and driving under suspension in Sumter County, according to WIS-TV.
This is actually at least the third Cheetos-related crime to happen in recent months.
Back in November, Deby Mejia, 23, of Houston, reportedly beat her 10-year-old sister to the point of unconsciousness after catching her eating Cheetos.
In September, David Scott, 49, of St. Louis was arrested after allegedly stabbing another man to death over a bag of Cheetos.
