I post'd this over on IML & still puzzled on why afew of these were fired
The teams letting go of their coaches are: the Philadelphia Eagles (Andy Reid), the Chicago Bears (Lovie Smith), the San Diego Chargers (Norv Turner), the Cleveland Browns (Pat Shurmur), the Kansas City Chiefs (Romeo Crennel), the Buffalo Bills (Chan Gailey) and the Arizona Cardinals (Ken Whisenhunt), the AP reported.

And the one that shoulda got fired didn't! ..Rex Ryan
 
the only one that is remotely puzzling is Lovie Smith, though I can understand it after the past few years. Rex Ryan is threading. He had a couple of decent seasons with the Jets, and that's saved him for one year. It makes no sense why they would fire the GM but keep the head coach and Sanchez though. What is that GM going to do?
 
Yeah, there was 3 teams I think that got rid of their GM's
 
It's a cutthroat job, and I really think each team could do with a better person in that position.
