Is it possible to develop an abcess 4-5" away from actual injection site? I always pin my delts and last week I started to notice a small lump at the very top of my shoulder. Well it hasn't gotten any better. Its a little bigger and reddish/pink. I have no fever and there is no "head" on the lump, its just a raised bump about the size of a nickel. It may not even be gear related idk. Should i let it run its course or go see the doc? Any input is appreciated. Thanks
 
I have had swelling inches from the injection site. Normally when it happens to me its in my upper arm after pinning medial delts. Its gone away after a week every single time.
