Make your own protein bars

It looks alright to me. I think I'm gonna give it try too. I'm always on the go so getting quality protein intake can be a challenge.
 
I wonder if instead of using flour I can just use oatmeal. Maybe put into a coffee grinder first to break it down.

Thats all that oat flour is. Just turn the processor on high and there ya go
 
I make protein and carb pancakes.

1 part fat free cottages cheese
1 part oatmeal
1 part eggbeater egg whites

Blend in blender until smooth.

cook like normal pancakes. I add a little splenda to the batter and dont use syrup.

Low fat, cheap, protein and carbs. I eat them on a cut and still have energy and oats dont make me bloat or hold fat like wheat and rice it seems like.
 
That's awesome!!! I'm going to make some of those tonight!! With a few changes to bump em up a bit!!
