Ok, I'm calling it an update even though I haven't posted anything about it but at the same time its an update as I have been on it for over a month now. Cyp/Tren basically. Nothing special and doses are pretty conservative. 500mg test/wk and 350 tren ace wk. Now, after watching a couple of videos on the Tube I have simply felt led to mention a few things that perhaps many of you have already experienced (either to a greater or lesser degree).
1. When I first started I was stupid. I say that having completed about 3 cycles prior to this over the past 3 years (I took a bit of a break from lifting and went back to racing bicycles). I started the cycle w/out my Letro or Aro on hand. Stupid simply because gyno seems to run in my family. I can recall my dad and both grandfathers having it so naturally I have a slight case of it. I can say however that it has not gotten any worse but I am usually pretty good about looking after it. If anything it has become slightly more pronounced as the muscle tissue has increased in size but nothing has grown. Short of having surgery there is no fix to this. It is what it is at this point. So with that said, I started my cycle off slow. I was doing my test twice a week (250mg on Mon/Thur) and Tren eod. I noticed my weight started to shoot up, strength started to improve and I was holding a lot of water. As soon as letro and aro showed up i started taking letro ed for 7 days (joints started getting achy) then took 3 days off and switched over to aro. Over the course of that week, I started dropping weight (lost about 7 lbs) and basically started looking a little leaner. Once I had been on aro for 5 days I upped my tren to 50mg/ed which is where I have now been sitting for the past 2 weeks.
2. Tren effects: Nothing special to note here. I can't say I have been any more aggressive and I haven't been having any wacked out dreams. I also haven't had any problems sleeping. I believe the sleeping issue is largely due to the lack of sleep I'm getting anyway due to my work schedule. Yes, I know, I know, I need to be getting more sleep but as a father/husband shit just doesn't workout. I basically get about 4-6 hours of sleep M-F and longer over the weekends (when I'm off work). I can fall asleep at the drop of a dime right now so no insomnia here! Night sweats. i do get these but I find that they seem to hit the hardest within a day or so of pinning Cyp then it fades a bit. They also seem to be worse on the days where I have drank all my water (1.5 gal). I end up waking up after sleeping only 2-3 hours to go take a leak and end up swapping out pillows and changing tee shirts. Just nasty. Acne, none to speak of really. I use a good face cleaner and make it a point to wash/scrub my back really well. I do take at least two showers a day (post workout and before I go to bed, and often at work depending on what rooms I go in at my job-medical research stuff...won't get into that here). I personally feel that these "supplements" simply tend to magnify attributes that an individual already has. Don't get me wrong, insomnia isn't something a lot of us have mind you but you know what I mean...your attitude, aggression, personality... Cardio: Well, this hasn't been too bad either. I will say that I breath harder faster but at the same time, I'm still able to do cardio. I don't get out on my bike much at all right now mind you as that isn't what I'm going for but I did have to do some training the past 2 weeks to run a 5k with my youngest daughter. I trained hard for this and did a lot of intervals on the treadmill. Normally 3 miles wouldn't be an issue but since I had pretty much been slacking on intensity at cardio it was somewhat challenging. In the end, I felt great on the run, never out of breath and not even sore the next day!
3. Fake gear: Yes, it is all around us and even more so here in the US where it is all illegal to start with. I would love to say that since I am getting it from a reliable source that my stuff is legit. But since I work in the medical field, I already know that the bottles are not commercial bottles and that this stuff is home made somewhere. None the less, I am having decent results and I didn't start using any of it until talking to a few other of my friends who swore up and down for the past couple years they weren't on gear...only to find out they were getting it from a common friend. In any case, I suspect that if anything, the concentration may be slightly less than the legit version. Then again, the only way to really know is to have it tested and of course we can't do that. Again, it is what it is and those are the choices you have to make when entering this ball game.
4. So I have officially been on cycle for 5.5 weeks now. My starting weight was 182 and today I hit the scale at 192. So i'm up 10 lbs roughly (I fluctuate about 1-2 lbs a day). My body fat is still higher than I would like at 22% and I am working on tweaking my diet to get that down some all while keeping my protein intake up at about 250g/day. I may need to increase that (feel free to offer advice there). I do need to maintain my cardio as much as I hate doing it. I don't need to train for any distance at this point but I do need to incorporate some HIT training or even some style of crossfit (basically just giant sets that involve some plyo exercises and lifts non stop for time if you will) into the mix.
Ok, so there you have it. I wouldn't say I have a goal of gaining a certain amount of weight with all of this. My goal is simply more of a look that I'm going for. Yes, I want the fitness model look. Not because I want to look hot mind you but because I want to be out at my daughters swim meets this summer looking buff as hell. I want all the moms to be out there telling my wife how good I look and for my daughters friends to be like, holy shit, that's your dad??? Sorta stupid but my daughters are 15.5 now and I'm not ready for them to have dumb little boy friends. I know how I was at that age and that is the last thing I want running around my girls at this point.
The odd thing with all of this is that I believe that I only look like I weigh in at about 175-180 and stand 5'9". But I actually weigh 190+. I can only explain it as muscle density at this point...which is a good thing mind you but I don't think it is really helping me to look any bigger. That being said, I don't know what I need to bulk up to in order to come in looking the way I want. I mean, I can't really base it on weight at this point. Instead, I'm just focusing on building up my weak areas (arms) and shoulders to generate that v taper. Yes, I'm hitting my back and everything else as well and things are coming along. Just gotta stay focused and put in the work. I don't think I get lazy in the gym at all by relying on the gear to carry me thru. Instead, I'm quite the opposite. I'm paying to be doing this crap. I'm pinning ed and dealing with that. I'm eating well. I'm doing cardio. So if I have to go thru all of that, then I might as well bust my ass in the gym and get the most bang for the buck possible. I got about 7 more weeks left before starting my taper begins (weaning off test) and starting full blown PCT so I might as well make the most of it.
I do have some questions folks with regard to clen.
At what point would I want to start running clen? I assume that most start running it towards the end of the cycle but I have also seen where folks have run it straight thru? Any suggestions? Should I continue running a low dose of Cyp while on clen? Basically adding it in when I start my taper? Let me know what you think.
