Get Shredded!
I recently got a hold of 3 vials of test-e 300. I did my 4th Injection on thursday with a 23g 1.5" needle at 1ml. Now on Friday my right glute was twitching non stop all day with mild soreness. Now today it feels like a slight bump with a little warmth with no redness on the surface area, it just feels sore when I sit or flex my glute. I'm thinking of avoiding injection to that site for now until it subsides. Any info is appreciated.

Are you rotating sites or just doing the same site every time?

You'll be fine, just sounds like some mild irritation.

I pin 3ml of oil in my glutes and I get a lump every now and then myself.

Use a heating pad to help disperse the oil and give the area 7-10 days before injecting it again.

Used the same side since I made the mistake on rotating. I rotate but this week I did the right side twice. Doh

Forgot to mention this is my first cycle. I'm guessing my virgin muscles are trying to get used to this. I'll try those methods.

Sounds like virgin muscle + same site. I can put 2ml in one site fine if I do it at once, but 2 1ml the same week in the same spot and I goose egg for a day or so.

Delts aren't bad, quads aren't either once you've pinned them a few times.

Warrior

Delts don't sound bad however all the veins on my quads kind of steer me away lol

Quads are easy. Just pinch a good chunk of muscle and pin that spot, release the muscle and push the plunger slowly. For delts I only pin 1cc and I use a slin pin. Back load it with a larger gauge needle and it's all good. Always have some gauze/tissue ready for when you pull the needle out. A little pressure after pinning helps stop any little drops of blood that will come out. Also it doesn't hurt to leave the pin in for a few seconds after finishing to make sure you don't pull it out while oil is still coming out. Might skin the pin a bit and end up with some oil in the lipid layer instead of the muscle. Rare but it happens.

VG is my absolute favorite. Sit down look to either side and that muscle you see under the hip bone is it. It's like a dead spot for nerves and veins which is why it's recommended for healthcare professionals. The angle is actually easier for me than quads are. Takes 2ml like a champ. Easiest way to identify it if you're still unsure where it is, stand up, lift your leg to the side and the muscle that flexes in your hip is it. Use a marker cap or a fingernail to indent the skin so it's still obvious when you sit. When you sit down the muscle is completely relaxed. It's ridiculous how painless and easy it is.

Well heres an update, worked out my shoulders yesterday and after a few hours the lump subsided a little bit. Woke up this morning an the lump is almost gone, all I have is a little soreness. So far so good.

Told ya so! Lol

Glad it's getting better bro. I know the anxiety is bad on your first pin cycle.

Warrior

Yeah the first time worries can be a nerve wrecker but hey its all going into my personal experience log lol.

I was going to do a "Very Stiff after 4th Cialis" spinoff thread :coffee:

THIS ^

also might want to try 25g next time on glutes , and warm up the oils before pinning , every little thing helps imho...

However now I have a slight redness to it. Doesn't hurt just flush.

Just irritation man. I wouldn't worry unless you pass the 10 day mark and it's still red and sore

Warrior

It's only been 3 days. It's slightly itchy but no pain involved.

You're good brother. Deep breaths. No worries lol

Warrior

I'd imagine fever, pain, and extreme swelling would be an infection. I've been pretty relaxed, just curious.

Update: at the end of my 3rd week, still getting flare up on both sides (alternating) doesn't last but a day then goes away but it's quite annoying or there's something in the oil my glutes don't like.

You pin the Glute while sitting?

Are you moving around in the upper outer glute? Not pinning the EXACT spot each time.

Are you shaking during injection?

You pin the Glute while sitting?
. The Ventroglute. It's kind of misleading. It's really your hip, but the muscle is your gluteus medius. So it's not behind you. It's where doctors and nurses generally give shots today. It's the easiest most painless site and it holds a ton of oil. It's actually more accessible than quads because of the angle.

if you notice in the video how far to the front he is? But honestly standing seems difficult. Seated, it is the only muscle there and the muscle is automatically relaxed. Follow the tips for your boundaries and it would be HARD to mess up. It's recommended for health care professionals because there's just nothing there to hit. No nerves no big vessels.! And even with virgin muscle (little sore first time each side) you don't really use it for walking or sitting so it's not as inconvenient as a sore quad or ass!
