Brewing test e and tren e.

Never used one of these before but wanted to order one.

Something like these ok? Are any of these better than others for any reason?

How many times are you suppose to be able to use it? For just 250ml then trash it? Can i run more than 1 brew through it?

First link would be one you would want to go with. Always been told and read that nalgene type did not work well for filtering gear.

The media bottle is obviously reusable. Once the gear is filtered into the media bottle it will need to be drawn out and put into vials or one big vial whichever.
This would be super easy if we had septa tops(screw on lid with rubber middle to stick a needle through) in this thread size but as far as I know no one has found those yet.
Please anyone let me know if you have.

And yes the filters are one use and done. Only one hormone through it as well. Some left over oil will be needed to clear the hormone too once all is filtered. There are some multi-use but I don't know much about them.

Thats when you ask yourself if you really need to 250ml or 500ml and so on of gear. Plan to sell or anything?
You don't really want to make a bunch and have it sit for a couple years ya know. I know, you want to have like 20 vials to look at lol

My sheer need for not much gear at once is all that really stops me from filtering this way. If you haven't ever brewed I would use syringe filters until you get the hang of it.
Brewing can be tricky at first just cuz its something new. Make sure to get .20= .22um sterile syringe filters if you go that route tho. I like the whatmans. Syringe filters are a pain and time consuming but it will get the job done. I feel its necessary to start out brewing with syringe filters. All that is needed for making smaller batches anyway. Won't kill you to earn it!

Those don't look too bad colochine. Does the PES work well with filtering hormones though?

I work for the big ole NASA. Used to travel for it, but now can do most of it from my home town.


Guys is there any other lab supply website i should check out before I order brewing equipment from med lab supply? I really have only found them as a good one stop shop for a lot of the stuff.

Thats the best place for one stop shopping. Also my personal favorite is www.flowlabsupply.com for the hardware but for solvents and oils medical-supply is the best.
