Get Shredded!
I see some guys saying they inject with a little air behind the gear to get it all in? I was under the impression that any air in the syringe was a no no. Can someone clear this up....thanks

We're talking about a very small amount of air . Every injection you lose 1 tenth of a ml that is left in the base of the needle in that little plastic piece . So about the same amount of air can be injected into muscle with no ill effrects and yes you'd get that last drop . It's injecting into a vein is where you never want to put any air in . The syringe would have to be pointed somewhat downward also to make it work .

The air in the veins ia a myth. I was laid up in the hospital for 3 months hooked to tubed and iv's running every place the docs could stick me. They would come change iv bags out and let a whole tubes of air run in me. Use to freak me the fuck out cuz i always heard from movies and shit that you were gonna die from it. The first time i woke up seeing that shit in the middle of the night i was screaming hitting the nurse call button the nurse came in saying no silly your blood will just absorb it. Still dont like it but good to know won't hurt you at all.

Right on....thx guys. One last concern of mine is needle length. For glute injections should I be using 1 or 1.5" pins?

little bit of air can be injected into veins directly without any problems. Capillaries will just sort them out and excrate it via bulp or fart

I am very lean so 1" works for me but if you are not lean or have any doubts go with 1.5" which is the safest route

I always use 1.5 for glutes my ass is nice and meaty.

As your injecting you can see the air going to the tip. Just stop when all the oil is gone and air reaches the needle.

I agree. I require weekly infusions and am surprised at the amount of air that makes it to my veins. My infusion specialist told me that the amount of air, that would cause harm, is extremely high.

IML Gear Cream!
Yeah good to know I always try and het every last bit of air out and waste my precious gearz.

i just buy way more gear than i need and over fill all my pins, but yeah, a little air in a IM injection isn't a big deal. the main reason why you see medical professionals flicking the syringe to get rid of air bubbles is so that the dose can be accurately measured.

Same here, but this gonna change soon. I reckon overfeeling the syringe with 0.1ml of air is gonna save me a lotta money.

Lets do the maths:
Volume of gear leftover in a syringe tip and the needle: 0.1ml
Considering EOD injections equals to 15 injections per month
15x0.1ml = 1.5ml

Boom massive savings right there.

Thanks guys. Its been awhile since ive cycled, I used to make sure all the air was out of the syringe. Its good to know a little wont hurt and that I wont be wasting my gear. Thumbs up!

i see your point, but i doubt that you're losing .1cc

what size needle do you pin with? switch the 23g for a 25g, BAM! instant savings! lol

Been using 25g for the past 2 years. Oh the microliters of gear I've saved.

Reminds me back in the day when i use to lick the mirror afterwards! Didnt want to waste any! Wish i would have saved some of that money for some gear today!
