Get Shredded!
Since I've been off from the gym for the past week due to water shortage issues, I'm thinking of changing things up when I start back in a day or 2. Shock the system a bit and spur some new growth.

Stats:
29yo
6'
240lbs?
18% BF (7 point caliper)

Currently lifting 3 on/1 off. Heavy compounds 4x6 and accessory work 2-3 sets x 8-10 reps. I aim for 10-16 sets total per workout depending on the weight and intensity.

Split as follows:
Legs/Abs - Days 1,5,9
Shoulders/Bis - Days 2,8
Back/Traps - Days 4,10
Chest/Tris - Days 6,12
Rest - Days 3,7,11

Lather, rinse repeat every 12 days.

So what are your thoughts on some changes or a new program for maximum mass/size gains?

:coffee:

Check out German Volume Training. I did 6 weeks of it. I did 10x10s, definitely shocked my body

I'll give it a look. Did you get good size gains?

Also, only 2 replies so far?

I did it off cycle (cruise) and I had good gains. I think its good for 4 weeks just for something different

Looks good I like to hit arms on there own day personally. I find if I train them a after a big body part there to fatigued to move enough weight. It's just what works for me. If also shoot for a tad but higher reps on legs. I don't see calves on there I'd imagine they get hit while tweaking in the locker room:coffee:

I'm looking into using the GVT program for a few weeks, and plan out my next full program in the mean time.
