I can understand that, some clients of mine hire me for the sheer fact that if they don't have someone telling them what to do, they simply won't do anything.
Others hire me on a short term basis to hit a set goal and learn about how their body reacts to certain situations I'll place them in, and try it alone without me, yet retain me for consultations from time to time.
What people like me do can get pricey, but unlike some trainers who to you what to do but don't explain why or how it works, I take the time to teach everyone I work with, giving them enough knowledge to make valuable decisions on their own, while still using me if they have further goals that their having issue hitting.
I don't only train body builders and so on. But athletes as well, from football to soccer and track. Just depends in the person, their goals, once all information is processed then a plan that I feel is correct for their situation or goal is made.
