Awhile back GSR said something along the lines of doing this. His idea was a little more extreme than what I have been thinking about. I was thinking something like this...

Workout Days: Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri - High calories
Non Workout Days: Wed/Sat/Sun - Calories deficit (Cardio days)

Some of my clients, I place on both calorie cycles and carb cycles at the same time.

Results have been very good.

I think this is something that is going yo be person specific. Although I'm not sold on the idea, I would be interested to see data on it. Carb cycling I believe has some benefits though!

When I'm cutting I will intake what I think will be 500 cals less than my tdee. So naturally on my days off from lifting I'll take in less cals. But I usually reduce it from my carb intake. Keep the protein around the same maybe a little less. Those are the days I notice the biggest weight loss and not much of any rebound the following days.

And im by no means starving myself.
