Just saw this. Sorry but that is simply not true. Depth of pin absolutely makes a difference. If the pin is too short it becomes a sub-q injection, which defeats the purpose of intramuscular injections. Or maybe partial IM and sub-Q. Pin length selection for various sights is very important. One size does not fit all.The depth of the pin doesn't really make a difference either. There is more blood flow deeper within the muscle, just don't inject right at the surface. My wife is an RN so I ask her all the questions regarding stuff like this.

Yes. It depends on your bodyfat level but assuming you have a normal amount of bf, use 1 inch pins for delts and quads, 1-1/2 inch for glutes. If you venture into triceps and biceps, which I don't recommend for a new user, 5/8 inch is fine.
I did misunderstand what you said. It's all good man.I may have been too brief with my reply. I always use a 1 1/2" pin but choose different depths pending on site of injection. I never inject right at the skin and was stating that as well. My apologies if I was not thorough with my advice.
... Yes, and I wish I said this earlier, and to avoid the risk of an developing an abscess. That is some nasty shit.No advantage but the difference is....by using different sites you won't build scar tissue up quickly in one site per say
Not everyone is as lean a mofo like you . The only one I would change is the glute injection. No harm in going 1-1/2", 1" tops. Safety first.Now you got me worried-LOL!
I use 25 gauge 5/8" length for my quads. The 1.5" just seemed way too deep. I have been using 27 gauge 1/2" length for my delts. And recently (doing everyday pinning) I added glutes and using the 25 gauge 5/8" length. Is there anyway to tell if that is too shallow? I do not have PIP, lumps or anything else.
I forgot to add I am very lean in those areas.
