is there any that are free and how well do these work, I am tech savvy but i do not know much about proxy servers and te ability to bypass etc.

I know, I know, I'm cheap and I should just nut up and buy it, Im just looking for something a little more cost effective

Off subject ape but whatever came of that shady delivery?

false alarm but I am taking proper precautionary measures, just a little paranioa I guess

I pay for a VPN. Private internet access to be specific. Like $3 a month. I DL software to encrypt outgoing data. It routes it to their server then decrypts it, then sends it to whatever website Im looking at. Then when that web page sends me information it essentially traces the same route back. If I look up my IP it shows a norwegian location. I haven't had any complaints.

Anybody that believes that any of that software will prevent LE or the United States Government from getting any and all of your information is misinformed. In fact, I firmly believe that you may be putting yourself at an increased risk by purchasing or having that hardware as it clearly shows that you are attempting to keep something quite. I'm not suggesting that you will be put on some CIA watch list or that purchasing this software will get you in trouble but I am saying that if LE wants to track you down they can and will.

logically yes I agree with you, but to do it and gather evidence that was obtained while abiding by laws and rights that will hold up in court that is different, although I still would not want it to ever escalate that far I just want to make it a little harder for them. I bet 9 out of 10 DEA agents dont even know what a proxy server is

With the tech out there today the law can get any info they want doesnt matter if you use VPN or not. And i agree with THEOLDJJDIGS when they see you trying to scramble your IP thats when they will start looking at you. Do you do with porn and just be smart and dont let your wife find it lol

I agree with what your saying, especially with what we heard about the nsa etc. but I feel if they did do that a lot more people would be getting busted

I feel you bro. I think that the law has more important things to worry about then "gear" so they kinda let it go

RapedApe, you are one paranoid MoFo. I like that. I recently watched "Terms and Conditions"- that would blow YOUR mind! Secret Service interrogating a middle schooler because they misunderstood a text about the pres. Google has every password ever entered on andriod on a cloud. NSA has profiles for each and everyone of us from computer searches, CREDIT/DEBIT cards, hiway traffic scanners! Cameras are EVERYWHERE. Our cars are tracking us. Head of the CIA says there is no better way to institute Marshall Law than to give everyone a cell phone and a SpaceBook or MyFace account. They can sort Facebook posts by keywords and see who is doing what, and then GPS phones to track them (US!). Screw you guys, i gotta go make a tin foil sombrero!
I mean, we got nothing to worry about, bro!

I know what you are saying.

However despite what you believe your IP address can be tracked without a court order and the DEA doesn't need Internet traffic when they conduct a search warrant at your house and you have vials of AAS. Now, with that said, you're right... The DEA could care less about guys with a couple of vials of TEST and DECA.

But I'd caution you moving forward man... The NSA, DEA, or any government agency has the manpower, technology and the balls to do whatever they want. There is ABSOLUTELY ZERO we are going to do about it. There is no Software Program that will, "make it harder for them." They operate on a different level.

Agree lol. I don't hide anything these days. I may order something but I'm not supplying which is what they are looking for anyway. The only thing I do is use my brothers name because he doesn't workout and will deny everything.

I'm an end user for this very reason. Never ever deal drugs.

They can break down my door and find a few vials of test and a doctors prescription. You don't need to keep more than one cycle on hand anyway.

My advice: use Wickr if you ever really need truly private internet conversations. Everything else; VPN, proxy server, or not is fair game and definitely vulnerable.

To me, it's like a shell game. If you run a proxy through a proxy, going through another proxy, using an internaitonal proxy that goes back to a US proxy, to another proxy, to another international proxy, back to a US proxy to you final destination, it might take 30 seconds for anything to load (it takes longer most of the time), but anyone looking for you is going to be spending a LOOOOONG ass time doing it.

It's the same sort of thing that corporations do when they move assets and income between legal entities. Money goes from US to Cayman LLC, then to a UK subsidiary, back to a US affiliate, through another Cayman LLC, out to a Venezuelan LP, back to a Cayman entity, and then to US owners of a Cayman LP.

It is interesting to note that the government got sick of having to trace through the financial structures, so they enacted a law (FATCA) designed to make companies report this information to them voluntarily.
