NY Times article Re: Test & Estrogen levels

Funny how this "new frontier of research" has been know around these circles for decades. But I have to say it's nice to see it kinda sorta getting out there.

Thanks for the link, nice article.

Except for the following bizarre statement: "Dr. Finkelstein’s study found that muscle strength and size turn out to be unaffected until testosterone levels drop very low, below 200 nanograms." Makes no sense given everyone's experience here, as well as many studies including the classic http://ajpendo.physiology.org/content/281/6/E1172. Maybe they meant something else and garbled it.

Thanks for pointing this out... I just let it go thinking I read it wrong.

That was good news to me. Maybe they were talking about normal muscle mass... Not what we're used to and want? I did see a case study of a heavy steroid user who wanted children, and couldn't. He hadn't used in years and had "significant" muscle mass, but his test was on the low end of normal. Just food for thought. This NY Times study is a great study. Just like the talk of de criminalizing marijuana nationwide, studies like this will have a positive effect for us as well! From my short, brief experience with aas, i realized that i crushed my e/e2 levels too much, and that maybe with super elevated testosterone levels a slightly higher than normal e level may be acceptable?

The study I'm referring to was from ergolog.com great site.check it out.
