What is a good pre-workout shake or meal to help with pumps and vascularity. I eat one of my meals at 230 and workout around 630. I of course have some Whey Protein directly after workout and then eat some steak and broccoli usually for my last meal. Just don't know what and when pwo.
 
Carbs man. My Pwo meals are usually 45mins before I workout. Sweet potato, bananas, oats, cream of wheat, add a little pb and a scoop of protien and your g2g. Doesnt have to be fancy. Some cluster dextrin works too. See what works best

About 1 hour pre 8 oz chicken/fish, jasmine rice or cream of rice, medium banana

Then preworkout about 30 mins before with cialis

Sip on carb powder during workouts.

Doesn’t have to be too complicated. Just get some carbs in you and hit it!
 
Thank yall so much. Most of my meals are 8 Oz chicken and some jasmine rice with some birds eye protein blends. I will add another small meal closer to wo time with one of those carb sources mentioned. Also take 10 mg cialis every night when I get done working out. I thought because of the half life that would be fine but I can move it to pre workout if that works better

I workout at 4 am on empty stomach one hour of cardio before I hit the weight. Only thing I take when I wake up is 5mg cialis and Coffee on the drive to the gym. After workout 50grams of protein. On keto forever so I don't do any carbs.
 
About an 30minutes to an hour before I’ll have a pure protein bar, during training I drink eaas and cluster dextrin. I keep meals about 2-3 hours away from training because I want blood going to the muscle not digesting food in my stomach. If you’re doing decent volume and intensity you only need around 20-30 grams of carbs to fuel the workout.

Thanks again everyone. What if there where times I couldn't have a meal which I don't see any reason why I couldn't, but if I had a shake if I added that real carbs powder that rich piana has. Or his company I guess

There’s no problem with that as long as you’re able to keep effort and intensity up throughout the workout

Shake and a banana works fine also, it doesn’t have to be fancy.

When I'm short on time I'll do a carbo-gain shake with some bcaas, 10mg cialis and chug a cup of coffee. Talk about a skin splitting pump lol
 
Thanks guys. I, well my wife, preps all my food on Sundays. I'm going to just prep another meal for pre workout. Also going to get the carb powders for emergencies.
 
I usually drink a shake for mu pwo. I also have a two hour drive from work until I get to the gym
 
Grind some salt into your pre workout drink or a glass of water and drink it pre workout.
