Anxiety on TRT & Steroids - Causes & Treatment
Anxiety on TRT & steroids is not uncommon. For men with low T, treatment often improves these symptoms. But for other men, exogenous androgens can make symptoms worse, or even be their cause. The effects can differ in men with underlying anxiety or depression at baseline before adding androgens vs those with no history of these symptoms. In this video I discuss the causes and treatments for anxiety for men on TRT and steroids, as well as discuss some unique patients who need testosterone but have trouble tolerating it due to these symptoms. I also discuss my own experience with anxiety.
