rub injection site or not?

I've had little discomfort at pin site but my buddy had a tough week with his. Both sites have been virgin muscle, we are newbs. I've seen videos that say just slight pressure after pin but a buddy of ours says to rub it for minutes after. Does this help or is it a bad idea?

Virgin muscle will most likely have some PIP for a day or two.
 
Use a gauze pad immediately after removing the needle and rub it in. That's will keep it from hurting
 
With virgin muscle it is going to be sore the first 5-7 times you inject, don't know why but everybody has the same experience when injecting for first time.
 
I didn't . I had a nurses friend give me my Injects on my first cycle and he showed my the gauze trick. He's said it would hurt without it.
 
Rubbing def. helped me with virgin muscle pip, it made a night and day difference for me
