Proviron has a molecular formula of C20H32O2 and has an active life of eight to twelve hours though its effects can be experienced up to 24 hours. The drug has an anabolic-androgenic ratio of 100-150: 30-40 and can be detected over a period of 5-6 weeks.

One of the biggest advantages associated with use of Proviron is its unique ability to promote the count and quality of sperm and is also indicated to treat serious wellness problems such as low libido and erectile malfunction. The drug is even recommended to male patients struggling with impotency or lack of testosterone. In addition to these advantages, use of Mesterolone is also associated with improved release of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone for stimulating testes so that more testosterone can be produced.

Since it is not a 17 alpha alkylated compound, it can be used for a long period of time. The drug can even enhance potency of testosterone when used in an anabolic steroid cycle with it. The fact that Proviron can attach itself to SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin) and albumin means that a large percentage of testosterone (free) is made available to conduct anabolic actions. Furthermore, the performance enhancing drug can also be used as an anti-aromatase and this characteristic proves to be beneficial when the drug is stacked with other anabolic steroids and performance enhancing drugs that may convert to estrogen to some extent. Since this steroid can bind to the aromatase enzyme, it does not allow steroids that are made a part of the cycle (with Proviron) to interact with enzymes and lead to formation of estrogens.

The increased level of free testosterone can then be utilized by the body for promoting protein synthesis that in turn stimulates muscle gain. Moreover, the steroid also has the ability to reduce the amount of free estrogen in the body by minimizing estrogen receptorsí ability to bind to estrogen. The drug is medically recommended to individuals suffering with potency disturbances due to androgen-deficiency, easy fatigability, lack of concentration, weak memory, disturbances of libido, depressive moods, general vegetative complaints, irritability and declining physical activity and mental alertness in middle- and old-aged men.

Neurobiology: Mood altering Effects

Testosterone is in-fact a prohormone in the brain; itís converted into either DHT or oestradiol, to act upon androgen and oestrogen receptors (AR/ER), respectively. This of course causes sexual differentiation of the brain 26. Progesterone can antagonise actions at both AR and ERs in the brain. Oestrogen promotes neurotrophic synthesis, modulates cholinergic and dopaminergic neurotransmitter systems, and protects the brain against stress and inflammation 27. It also elevates serotonin and modulates serotonin receptor distribution. Why? Because oestradiol increases the production of tryptophan hydroxylase, which is the rate limiting step in the synthesis of serotonin from tryptophan, thus increasing serotonin concentrations. Additionally, it inhibits the expression of the serotonin reuptake transporter (SERT) gene and acts as an antagonist at SERT, resulting in promoting the actions of serotonin due to increasing the length of time it remains available within synapses and the interstitial space of the brain 28Ė30.

Oestradiol also upregulates 5HT2A (a serotonin receptor) in the brain 28. Taken together, these effects will ultimately cause an anti-depressive effect. This is true of the oestradiol that testosterone converts to in the brain of males too. The brain has significant expression of SRD5A (5α-reductase), which converts Testosterone to DHT, thus clearly indicating that there are local, tissue-specific effects of DHT on cognition and mood. We understand that DHT treatment promotes the expression of synaptic plasticity markers and positively modifies synaptic structures. What this means is that DHT promotes good synaptic health, important in preventing diseases such as Alzheimerís 31. We know that Mesterolone (Proviron) also alleviates depression symptoms in men with less side effects than amitriptyline (tricyclic anti-depressant) 32. This suggests that testosterone and androgens act as central MAOIs too.32

I love proviron. itís probably one of the most underrated steroids are out there. for me it works great for all the things mentioned in the article and also fat loss and vascularity. I would rank right up there with clen for fat loss but with no side effects.
with clen I get depleted, cramps and lethargic. iíve never noticed any negative side effects from proviron.
iím on it now and feel great physically, mentally. I feel like Iím on cloud 9. itís an Awesome product. not planning on coming off unless BW tells me otherwise.

Proviron has zero aromatase properties. So no, you are not getting emotional due to the proviron directly causing an increase in estrogen.

C)Oestrogen is a female sex hormone but produced in males too

Testosterone and some 17aa non aromatizing steroids still CAN increase progestinic activity; progestins are different from natural progesterone, which means the way they interact with the hormone receptors in your body is also different. Side effects of progestins can be related to the dose or strength, the specific hormone receptors that it interacts with, or a personís individual response.

So, by taking steroids by injection or oral use on a regular basis; it can cause constant high levels of estrogen and/or progesterone desensitizing the pituitary gland to subsequent estrogen or GnRH stimulation

In a study they introduced synthetic steroids
on a constant even dose vs placebo
After testosterone or other synthetic steroids, pro hormone, analogues were discontinued the prolactin levels started to fall. One possible mechanism for this increase in prolactin may be aromatization of exogenous testosterone to oestrogen and the subsequent oestrogen-stimulated prolactin release by the pituitary gland.
Oestrogen is considered to be the 'female' hormone, whereas testosterone is considered the 'male' hormone. However, both hormones are present in BOTH sexes

So basically, the relationship to taking testosterone or nandrolones or non aromatizing steroids {that are not supposed} to cause gyno or prolactinemia , they still can because of the pituitary glands relationship to gonadal hormones, gnRH, estrogen, prolactin. All the exogenous use is a guess on how it will effect glandular release or blunting production. Basically because we all have different biochemistry; each persons experience will be different. It seems that by exogenous use of any steroids can send out mixed signals to our gland setting off a chain of events that could fill a book. It involves the compound affecting every signal from the glands to all the sex hormones, LH, FSH, etc{every acronym on lab tests}signaling cells in our testes.

So : estrogen, oestrogen, testosterone, pituitary, receptors , and cell signals can carry out almost any outcome. This may be the reason that everyone can have a different experience with the same steroid.
Also means depending on your genetic makeup; the body does what it thinks it needs to do to try and control it by every means.

Just a tad of info for you. Not gospel because we still dont know everything. [emoji120]
